Note

Keith Longhurst reserve detour on way back from Thirlmere where we stayed after Jamberoo.
Very scenic waterhole with rock lined cliffs and a cascading waterfall.

Run 5 km NSW - Official Campbelltown 28:19 [3]

Campbelltown - 74th parkrun at 45th location.
15th run around Sydney region. 7 am start.
Best time (first run starting with a 28 and first km starting with a 4) in over 10 parkruns so hopefully constant gym training is starting to help (but a long way off prior bests in 24’s).

I liked the simplicity of this course all on concrete with two under road crossings.

5th sea (C) for the pirates club (others being Callaghan, Clare Valley, Cleland, Cooks River).
Already have multiple Argh (R) (Rooty Hill, Rhodes) to qualify. Remaining Sydney options Chipping Norton (opening 24th March), Curl Curl and Cronulla so range to choose from!

Note

Jamberoo Action Park as an experiment with KC since we both liked Wet N Wild.

Unfortunately I spent the day trying not to be sick and after almost every ride or hour I had to either lie down or walk it off.

We still managed to try every ride.

Low point was bobsled ride.
I tried the easy ride first and managed to lift the sled off the track for a second or two.
KC wanted to try the experienced ride and got to the bottom and was confused when two separate kids followed her down rather than me.
The kids told her “he stacked it” which was true as I managed to completely roll it out of the track and plough into the dirt. I then had to try and time it to get back in the sled and metal track so the next person wouldn’t run up the back of me.

At least it’s not as bad as my quad bike trial where I knocked myself out, got a black eye, and was charged for damage to the bike.

Note
(rest day)

11 hr work days sometimes 6 days a week combined with a 7 day gym schedule starting to wear me down.
Night off to clean house, do dishes, food shop and other chores prior to being reunited with KC, after 3 weeks apart, for a weekend away.

Today was going to be a rest day as exhausted.
Totally flogged in this class so better have a day off tomorrow.

Gym Sydney - Class 'The HIIT' 30:00 [3]

This instructor is brilliant at finding ways to take me to breaking limit and expect more. By the sixth rep or more my speed or strength reserves have plummeted.

Gym Sydney - Class Weights 1:00:00 [3]

Even though I am pushing to lift the heaviest weights in the class this is still a “bludge”.
My body can handle slow simple repeated movements of heavy objects.
Fast cardio or things requiring co ordination or my smaller normally unused muscles kills me.
7 PM

Gym Sydney - Class 'CX Worx' 30:00 [3]

They keep coming up with slightly different exercises to break me.
Once I lose the fat layer abs and core are going to be revealed when working this hard.
