Picton parkrun launch. 5th launch. 5th "P". 80th parkrun. 51st location.

It was only an hours drive from townhouse so sounded like a better option than any of my outstanding Sydney parkruns that are all along the coastline and therefore a longer drive (timewise) and they nearly all start at 7 am.

Simple but winding out and back course on concrete. A few minor slopes and two wooden footbridges - the first of which would restrict overtaking especially if a pram. Followed a creek and some rolling hills to the left with a new subdivision to the right.

Managed to score in "stopwatch bingo" for 2nd week running so now have 43 of the 60 combinations.

Also scored a Medibank running top, arm bands and drink bottle as sponsor was handing out mobile advertising.

Nice drink and company with KC, Glenn and Rob from "The Running Nuts" afterwards at maccas which was right next to the start carpark.

Despite coming 107th I can claim to be the first Wooter to cross the finish line ..... and the fastest Wooter ,,,,, at least until probably next week.

This prompted me so I went back and checked - despite the huge Newcastle running tourism contingent I am still the only Wooter to have done some of the SA Parkruns such as Cleland.

Home at 3 am.
Last night shift completed.
Handover training to new shift supervisor started but remainder will be done in 1 hr per day at end of my day shift. Looking forward to return to some normalcy and working as an Engineer again!

Looking forward to return to dayshift permanently so I can get a decent variety of classes again.
Died in chest track on 20 kg again.

Note

Tidy up of classification system in Attackpoint as have added more than 30 categories since returning to Australia and relocating to Sydney.

Majority were created on the fly on tiny Iphone phone screen so sat down on laptop and reorganized, added new ones for next few months upcoming 10 events, colour coded and fixed multiple typos.

Total zombie.
Intended to drive to Newcastle to spend time with brother and KC but couldn’t stand up straight.
Went for a walk for over an hour to try and wake up but it didn’t help much and sat down on my recliner lounge and phased in and out of sleep for next 2 hours before I admitted defeat and stayed in Sydney.
1 last shift to go!

I got so dizzy and headachey rapidly in the class that I couldn’t get my arms and legs to work to get off the floor after planks. Not sure what is going on but hope it doesn’t continue. 3 more night shifts to go as not working Anzac Day.
