Gentle jog to the start of the Trossachs race and back. Shins complaining at the end so no more running until JK on Friday.

Touch Estate Middle distance - This is my first UK Cup race as a senior, so kind of a special day...
Went technically not too badly, one smallish mistake before I smashed my compass at the spectator control, the rest was a bit messy and I lost my confidence without the compass.
Physically found it really hard, struggling especially in the second half.
Result was quite encouraging though, and there's lots of room for improvement, so looking forwards to more racing :-)
NO shin pain during race, the muscle felt a little sore in wram down though.

Still feeling dead tired. I guess I'm just not over the cold I had. Nothing much wrong, just have a heavy head, bit of a bunged up nose and sleepy (fell asleep in the sauna!)... so, another rest day, hopefully I'll be good for racing tomorrow :-)

Long bike ride on the static bike, legs feeling pretty tired from yesterday, dragged my way through it. Mind-numbingly boring, saved by music :-) ... Rest day tomorrow I think!

Combination of stuff at CSE, did a bit of cycling cos i haven't done any in a while! Was fun, burning off the HUGE amount of Dominoes pizza i ate last night.
Arms are suffering after YWTA's...

Round the meadows, includng 5mins drills. Shin not totally great on downhills, so will rest from running until Saturday.

Was gonna do some stuff in the circuits gym but there was a class in there so swapped it with tomorrow's session

Got shin, calf massaged out, told that the newer pains lower down my leg aren't more shin splints but something to do with the tendons running up the frontof my foot (?! ... feels like a shin problem to me...)
