easy distance round ågesta, except i was enjoying it too much and speed creeping up too high for some bits. slower home after i stopped at the outdoor gym for a bit. a couple of bits i still had to go carefully on the ice, but feeling generally warm.

One last ridge run. Still feeling the stress backlash so a bit more walking on the steeps than normal but well worth getting out. Made it an out and back on purpose this time, so i could get the ridge in both directions. Another place i probably shouldnt have worn trainers, didnt realise how little the path would be in use...

Its been a huge amount of stress this camp. Finally i could relax a bit, and so i felt the effects, immune system threatening a crash. So i was restricted to 2x small jog. This is why we really should have organised camps for championships. First one up at the pass.

Up to the knees of the mountain. Which was as far as was possible without proper winter equipment, this week's plentiful rain has been falling as wet snow not that much higher up. Feat. The mfd route that petered out, absolutely no-one else in the forest and going back to my stash of precious rivella in this deserted forest to find it GONE. Five minute break, i was so outraged! Wtaf. At least it was short enough so i can do another decent training today!

Again, not quite the run it could have been, thanks to consulting quite a poor map of marked trails i started on the other side of a precipitous valley to where i was wanting to be running up a ridge. Id already climb quite a bit before i realised so stuck to the road i was on. Up to a coll at the top of the valley where i considered trying to make it a round route - i was close to the top of the ridge and it didnt look steep to get there. But no sign of any marked trail in that direction. Decided there was probably a good reason and 6pm with looming Weather wasnt a great time to find out what it was. However it was v enjoyable and though not an Eiger style epic day it was alright for two out and backs. Good amount of climb done.

Stuck working. Well timed i think when i was tired yesterday, two more days left now to train harder. Think my hill running has come on a bit, ended up on a bit of a climb here. Just biting the ankles of these hills though.
