Finally i can go and join in a group run again! Lovely day too. Out on white edge, first time i've been up there. Carrying on okay with the progression.

X-trainer, bit of a stretch after. I've actually been able to make a proper full training plan for next week!

SYO club champs. Another classic Ecclesall Woods performance, too sloppy and made a complete pig's ear of the first butterly loop, then rage ran the rest trying to get back to the front. Managed in the end but missed again at the third last and emerged out of a bush to find Tim punching it. Luckily he missed after that and i could come back first to save a bit of pride.

Moving pretty much normally now but with so little running recently there is no automatic top gear, any higher speed needs properly forcing out. But at least i can work on it now.

Rivelin headstone from the golf course. Small paths and some heather on the moor. Finally feeling pretty normal now, just a little awareness now and then! It will take some more time to build speed back into my running but it's getting there.

Orienteering - medium 20:00 [3]
shoes: Inov-8 X talon November 2018

Really manky weather. Decided to go for a low level one. Planned some o intervals at loxley, maximum terrain. Bad idea, turns out terrain is often higher unpleasant there. So a lot more running round on paths than i wanted. Not a super hard training, a bit tired foot from yesterday. But some orienteering is better than none, and remembering that kept it just about at type 2 instead of 3.

Alternative training 55:00 [2]

A perfect clear day to go cycling! Reassembled my bike after checking the brakes, i think the cable has broken on the back wheel brake and needs taking to someone with more skill than me. I clearly didnt reattach the front wheel brake well enough and it fell off going down the hill to bamford, leaving me with no brakes. Luckily there was some soft heather to fall into but i could only find half the little ring things that hold it together. I hate cycling! cant afford to keep ruining training days like this. But i cant really afford to get it fixed either.

Running - easy 18:00 [2]
shoes: Saucony Kinvara - Dec 2017

Luckily, we have a kind clubmate called Pia who lives in bamford. I wheeled my bike the steep way to the village, where Pia fed me tea and crumpets and took me back to hunters bar. I ran home from the and day saved, i could run with a quite full stride on tarmac, big difference even from yesterday! Decided to run some drills to help it along but once i got home to dump my bag and extra layers i found an empty key pocket. So i hid my bag and ran back to Kim's to borrow another (happily i seem to have left it on the table...)

Got a bit bogged down in admin but got out to the x-trainer after a bit. Session was 2(5x3/1min) but wasnt a flying success. After the first set and 5min set rest (still going at an easier resistance) i just couldnt clear the lactic. Carried on steady but at 50mins i was feeling v dizzy so stopped there. I think it's from poor sleep (neighbours' alarm went off at 2am and had problems setting again afterwards)
3 PM

Running - easy 45:00 [2]
shoes: Saucony Kinvara - Dec 2017

Felt better after a nap. Foot not reacted at all from the weekend, so went for a run from home to see how it was. Felt about the same on harder tracks and tarmac as it had on small paths two weeks ago. So some progress. But i still cant open out and run completely freely, like im starting to be able to do on soft terrain.
