X-trainer, v different to hallam gym ones, it was one of those like walking on the moor haha. No intervals but felt like i was working quite hard.

amazing how it's always the same basic session each time but depending on day/form and which machine i'm on (they're not all calibrated the same) there's quite a bit of variation on what i manage. today was a heavy day but working quite hard from early on.

Quite pleased with how i managed to balance a rough week, less tired than after much ShAFFage last week. Using the treadmill to desensitise the chronic pain in my heel, trying to maintain/improve range of movement as i go. This is the "worst" surface for it apart from really uneven hard ground so once this is downgraded to a small sensitivity it should fly.

Feeling a bit lazy today and quads tired. So low gears all the way, just out up Edale. Distracted on the way back into a reservoir lap and then home on Manchester road. Smashing day to be out.

Nothing tests your work ethic like just at the end of the warm up getting a call "we're on the terrace at nonnas if you want to come down"... But passed the test this time :-)
