Bit stressed after the uk rail network ate most of my training window but lucky to be able to hitch a ride with RRR up to redmires. Round the moors then back down the Clough home. Really nice for a net downhill and felt quite okay. Thoroughly abused trainers in the terrain.


Have really compromised training this weekend, luckily next week is a bit quieter so should manage better.

5x5/30s/1/1 near forge dam. With Kim but ran alone in the reps. Had to cut the second long one for an emergency toilet dash but apart from that went great and feeling quite strong.

End of camp tiredness still here. One last relay training this aft that i should probably take reasonably seriously so just went for a small run round some paths in the local skog.

legs working well today! i did ruin the training though in the first 10 seconds. wanted to go straight but everyone was taking the path. "okay i'll do that for a bit. oh i love running with other people, it's so easy! see, i am quick enough. this is so much fun! ..." and that was that. boom. Emil would not be impressed.

i did try to keep running hard and catch back up but i also kept doing really stupid things. i think really, it's just time to go home.

Went out to Hekollen, probably the least relevant of the training maps i have left but okay for this kind of training, just easy. head not so much in it, knackered! but it's been a long camp.

gave me an excuse to scope out Mysen afterwards (for woc). not an awful lot to report.
