was looking forward to this and taking the better parts of yesterday to try and do something with them. so started with a good attitude and the right care, not rushing even though legs were better and it felt comfortable. i think a not good enough plan about halfway, knew i was running a good race and so desperate to have one again that the pressure built a bit too much! anyway in that state got completely thrown by the unmapped extra power line (why tho?!) and it not only cost me a lot on that leg but broke confidence for the rest of the course too. tried to restart with good race head but after a couple more times it backfired, when i was running with too much rush, i took it pretty easy to the end.

25manna leg 25. a pretty bad job by me. had let myself get a bit hungry (arriving quite early to be sociable and not eating properly since breakfast) so it was a bit harder to think through everything carefully, rushing it instead. some parts i was having okay control but lots i wasn't, and often near to the circle letting go of the plan too quickly. team were quite happy but i was very disappointed to perform like that, again.

Ox Stones and friends. Nice day but heavy legs. Quads had pretty much a refusal up the steep side of limb valley, suppose it was less than 48hrs since i was nearing the top of hart crag and promising them they would never have to do this again.
