Short intervals. 10 flat and 5 hills. Pretty much like strides but still feel like this kind of speed training is a good complement to other stuff.

Run from home to loxley, then night o. Took off some time for when i was stuck in bouldery brambles/brambley boulders. Ankle starting to ache near the end, which was a nice excuse to get back to the pub.

Ankle isn't too bad, not swollen but a bit unstable feeling. Lunch jog to decathlon for tape. In what i think might be peak SW Sheffield i saw not only a student on a stride of pride in a pair of shorts and red cape but also a poster advertising "Love and sexuality in the era of Love Island: a Marxist analysis".

Run with SYO (slightly depleted - just Dan!) round rivelin. Via top of crookes both ways. Ankle quite heavily strapped, felt fine.

All good until i twisted my ankle on the way back, still the other side of forge dam and it hurt all the way home. Had to take it carefully. Aching later in the evening too but hopefully can recover okay. Not much left to damage there anyway.

early morning stretch but just feeling a bit tired. after i weighed myself last week at a recent low of 46kg it's been in the back of my head to be a bit careful and not get into having to try hard just to stay afloat
