Østsidensmarka middle training. A bit of extra felling but otherwise quite nice. Not Gillingsrød but not bad either. Sometimes showing signs of orienteering competence.

gillingsröd, just easy. a bit tired legs after yesterday and it was a nice morning so some faffing about enjoying the hilltops. orienteering fine at slower speed.

Quite early (for me) to Ulvedalen. After last week going well i made a bad job. in my defence in a couple of places the black and yellow tapes were really difficult to find, especially when the feature was also not clear (14, small and covered in pine needles...). at 7 and 10 i forgot i wasnt on a brand new map where patchy vegetation is really clear and tried to use these details too much. especially at 7 even using all the other clear things around i couldnt find where the corner was supposed to be. eventually found a tiny boulder hidden in a tree, then the tape. the rest was all failing basic skills. i was running quite hard in places but tempered by "rest" in the circles. https://events.loggator.com/uke19

seem to have lost my watch. hm.. i only really use it to time intervals though (really i have nothing to brag about with running speed now either). and i dont think it does any of the training for me, so will live. went for some fartlek training starting just past skihytta on the loop past reflexlöype and round the top of hansedmmen, back along the ridge but then tuning to come up the back of vanntornebakken, joined the big track and finished back at skihytta. three quite long intervals with 60-90s recovery. quite good effort.
