After watching the Sheffield half I drove over to the Ladybower but decided to park near Bamford as I didn’t think there’d be a hope of parking at Fairholmes on such a hot day. So the run turned into a long loop rather than 2 laps of Derwent /Howden. Decided against taking water with me, which was a mistake, absolutely boiling, although cooled at times by the breeze. Beautiful day round the reservoirs, would have been better over the tops, but needs must. Tired a bit after 13 miles approaching Fairholmes but then perked up down the side of Ladybower (water and gels would have helped here!). I was a bit short of 20 miles passing the car so I picked up some water and ran out and back to Bamford.

3 reps of Win Hill, once up from the dam, then twice up from the reservoir on the north side. Need to measure the distance as I kept stopping the watch, maybe knocking it climbing over the gate?! Nice evening for it, although a little windy and cool on top.
