35 Deg C. Very very hot. I decided to cycle first and clear the course because it's less taxing in the heat than running.

Questars AR - run leg

I melted on this stage and had to stop in 2 pubs to get more water.

Whilst on the kayak I worked out which CPs to pick up & get max points based on a 2hr run and an average speed of 8kph. I managed to reduce the ascent and distance from a pre-start option that I drew up but got the same number of points. :-)
