Note

Bought a new multi-tool with an oscillating head to remove the grout between the bathroom tiles. Faster than using a manual tool and the small pecker type tool but still very slow.

Approx 1m linear length of tile grout removed per hour!

DUST everywhere and managed to kill the Dyson as it overheated following the clogging up of the dust filters. [I cleaned the filter in cold water, let it dry overnight and put it back on Tuesday morning. Motor cooled down and Dyson works OK again!]

Following a massive clean up job (to enable use of bathroom but not bath/shower), I still have a weekend's worth of work to remove about 10m of grout and then re-grout and seal!

Note

Bathroom DIY most of day - removing mouldy silicone around the bath and trying to remove grout from between the tiles.

Didn't manage to get out eve though weather was Ok but very cold.

Fell and smacked my knee so had to stop for a short while but I stooped my watch. Hurt for about a km but was ok after that. Lots of blood though!

Similar time to last week overall but was faster up to that point.

MDC Run - Brockweir

Lovely flowing run from Brockweir village community hall where Ian Macklin’s wife works. Had some lovely grub there afterwards too.

Croups Hill Intervals - Cefn Coed Road x 6

Started out at a sensible pace then gradually got faster. :-)

After a bit of digging in the segment section of Strava, I discovered that my fastest intervals up Cefn Coed Road were done on 19 January 2015 where I managed to do 8 reps in a range of 3:06 to 3:17. Perhaps I need to look at what training I was doing in the back end of 2014.
