Sion James has prepared four Small Area Format (SAF) courses with each contributing to the Black Mountains MBO League. Each one can be done in your own time but there is a cutoff date for each. So I decided to give the one with the earliest cut off date a crack - Wye Valley.

I downloaded all the maps a few days before and got them printed off at the local supermarket. I then laminated them.

My cycling fitness isn't where where it normally is for racing (due to COVID19 laziness and alcohol consumption) but I wanted to give each of these a crack as they are a good form of motivation for training.

Collected 450 from the available 500 I think. I was two or three minutes late so I lost 2 or three points. I didn't receive a confirmation email from Sporteering to confirm my score (after upload). I hope it's not been lost.

Dusted off the Concept2 after buying the PM5 monitor to replace the old PM3 monitor. The PM5 monitor connects to the ErgData app on my smartphone. The phone also connects to my HR belt via bluetooth. All too simple and easy!

The Erg Data app then syncs with GarminConnect and Strava via the Concept2 Logbook.
