First time running intervals so thought I would make it reasonably easy and simple to start off with. Ran 4 X 1250m (lap around Ross Creek reservoir) with 3 minute rests between. Each lap was-

Ran through Halfway bush up to the bull ring, to the top of flagstaff and down through Ross creek back home. Took 1 hour to reach top of Flagstaff. I had to walk the last couple hundred meters, hopefully next time I can run the whole way.

Ran 5km time trial on John Mcglashon High School grass track. Started off probably too quick but settled into a good rhythm after 2 laps. Was a bit slower on the last 2 laps but picked up the pace on the last. Took a good minute of last 5km time on 4/12/2010 of 21:21 so looks like training is paying off, although I still need to reduce this time down alot. Lap times were-
