Camped b/t Washington Lk and Provo River Falls at 9500' in the Uintas. Woke up a lot but slept ok overall. Good to get out of town for a night and be in cooler temps. 34F when we woke.

Chill AM w/ the Falls to ourselves for about an hour. Fun, little trip.

Slept ok, just need more. So slow but nice, cool AM. Left hip was good- no pain. Lower abs stiff, maybe from core stuff and a couple falls yesterday at the gym. Legs started to move a little better the last 2 miles. Legs tired. Hamstrings a little sore. Nice jog though.

Wasn't sure how I'd feel, so initial goal was 640-650. Eased into it with the first 1600 but felt good as I picked up the pace. Solid effort. Could have kept going. Feeling a lot better overall. Cool temps, kinda breezy but ok. Psyched on this one.

Head good. Legs pretty good. Pop in the legs coming back a little. Hips barely stiff in the last mile. Overall, a good one. Work has been bat s**t crazy the past 2 days. Lots of sitting in meetings and on the phone, so my body feels kinda wonky. Feeling more ready and psyched to get back at it. Attempt at a T run tmw.

Slept ok. Left hip feels better today than it has in a few days. Maybe take today totally off too. Gotta get my legs and psyche back by the end of this week. Last long long run on Sunday.

Big, mostly unbroken, sleep. Body feels better today. Still generally tired. Foam rolled IT bands a lot yesterday, which helped.

2 gels, 10oz water. Plan called for MP to 10k pace for the last half of 16-20mi, which I knew wasn't happening today.

So, the goal was to try to negative split the JR Rd out and back and avg under 730. It was going well enough until mi11.8, when my legs weren't having any more of it. Hip flexors were toast. Oh well. Gallow-jogged it in. Def not nailing the recovery from last weekend. 4 more weeks to get my legs back.
