Bear Trap 15 Mile. 2nd OA. Should've been 3rd but the leader missed a turn and cut the course on the first loop. Ran the Brandon basically the whole time. Didn't have the mojo to attack so just stayed on him hoping he'd overcooked it on the climbs. He didn't. Rt hip flexor cramped on last mini climb at 12.5 (I was able to walk it off in less than 30 seconds), which was when he took off and put 2min into me on the final death descent. Fun day on new trails. No falls. Fun to have company for once.

ahr:130 max:157 slept:7.5 weight:137.2lbs shoes: Ride ISO2 Lime

Easy with 4x 100/100 at the track, 1x 10sec hs at the end. Feel good for tmw. Maybe should’ve skipped the yard work yesterday. Oh well. Broke the beer fast last night. It didn’t taste as good. What have I done?

Road Run 50:28 [3] 6.08 mi (8:18 / mi) +377ft 7:50 / mi
ahr:133 max:150 slept:8.0 weight:135.4lbs shoes: NB 880v9

Easy to mod + 5x 10sec hs. Felt good to pick up the pace a few times. No bevs again. Feel better this AM than I did yesterday. Idk why I was so tired yesterday. Passed out for 20-30 minutes on the couch after work. Feeling better about racing on Sat.

Wednesday Oct 7 #

Nap after work. So tired. Not sure if I'm fighting off something and/or low mo from work.
5 AM

Road Run 1:00:57 [3] 7.4 mi (8:14 / mi) +390ft 7:51 / mi
ahr:129 max:155 slept:7.9 weight:135.4lbs shoes: Ride ISO2 Lime

Easy plus 4x 30/30. Legs felt heavy but still able to keep HR/ RPE low. Orange air. Hazy, kinda smoky. Couldn't smell it, but nose got stuffy. No bevs again last night. What a guy!

ahr:126 max:146 slept:7.5 weight:135.2lbs shoes: NB 880v9

Easy effort in the cool temps and breeze. Let it roll on downhills but doing well w/ keeping it low hr/ RPE. Nice job. No bevs last night!

Monday Oct 5 #

slept:7.0 weight:134.8lbs

Slept poorly. Partied a little too much last night, for some reason. Went to bed w/ a sore throat after watching London Marathon Women's race. MF Sara Hall!

Sunday Oct 4 #

Trail Run 2:05:08 [3] 14.06 mi (8:54 / mi) +802ft 8:27 / mi
ahr:133 max:161 slept:8.0 weight:135.8lbs shoes: Ride ISO White/Blue

P line double out and back from BH TH. Down canyon first. Came down rd from Elbow Fork in 6:13, 6:32. Easy effort until then, though I wasn't really pushing it. First 8-9mi by headlamp. Nice to have the place to myself for a while. Good run. Had to get it done early to get to a fam thing. Nice job.
