Mellow spinning w/ loaded bike out by the Wedge to test the bikepack systems. Sunny and warm.

Road Run 48:58 [3] 5.73 mi (8:33 / mi) +299ft 8:09 / mi
ahr:132 max:145 slept:7.3 weight:134lbs shoes: Ride ISO2 Gray

Cool and light snow that wasn't sticking. Legs a little heavy from trainer but, overall, not bad. Left hip was a little awake but no left glute anything. Really good attitude this morning. Legs seem to be finally adapting to the added cycling. Less running has been good for the left leg issues. Weekend forecast looks great. Psyched to ride.

Road Run 57:03 [3] 7.03 mi (8:07 / mi) +375ft 7:43 / mi
ahr:135 max:155 slept:7.4 weight:133.4lbs shoes: Ride 13- Orange

Used to be 8 or more hours of sleep was something to celebrate during the week. Now, it's 7 or more.

Decent run. Left hip kinda awake but left glute was great. Legs felt a little heavy but not bad. Need to do more stretching. Maybe ride the trainer after work.
6 AM

Strength Training 6:00 [3]

2 x 10 back lunge KB circuit
90sec plank
4 PM

Cycling-Trainer 1:19:44 [4] 20.39 mi (15.3 mph) +2254ft
ahr:131 max:162

Hilly course. Legs actually decent. Dug doing the long climbs. May pay for it tmw. Whatev. Adjusted saddle height up and moved saddle back a little. Seemed to help w/ my lower back.

Cycling-Trainer 1:09:14 [3] 20.91 mi (18.1 mph) +938ft
ahr:122 max:146 slept:6.8 weight:134.4lbs

Easy to moderate effort. Def took a lot longer to feel warmed up. Not sure if I've ever ridden the trainer out of bed before. Whatever. Mentally, it was fine.
I need to tweak my fit a little. Pretty sure that's what's bothering my lower back.

Road Run 1:01:03 [3] 7.4 mi (8:15 / mi) +484ft 7:46 / mi
ahr:135 max:160 slept:6.2 weight:134lbs shoes: Ride ISO2 Gray

Low 30s. Best rd run in a while. Left glute kinda stiff but would move. 600mg ibu, I guess, kept my lower back at bay. Ran to first bridge in MC cyn, and let it roll on the down. Decent legs and head. Nice.

Monday Mar 22 #

Note
slept:7.3 weight:134lbs (rest day)

Bailed on an AM run. Up late looking at maps, took a while to fall asleep. Cold and windy. Back stiff. All the excuses...
12+ hour work day on tap.

Sunday Mar 21 #

Note
slept:10.0 weight:133.4lbs

Woke to cold and snow again. Low mo weekend. Grr.
11 AM

Trail Run 2:01:55 [4] 10.21 mi (11:56 / mi) +2746ft 9:31 / mi
ahr:151 max:172 shoes: Peregrine 10

Everyone in SLC in MC today, but not on Grandeur. Parked at lot above BH TH. P-line to CF rd parking. Up Grandeur in 59:30-down-p line to car. Legs decent. HR stayed high though. Body did fine. Tweaked my back a little on a sloppy section but fine overall. Big smiles on CF trail. Cool snow and fog. Had the socked in summit to myself. Psyched to be up there and get in 10 miles.
