Orienteering (Race) 1:11:47 [4] 7.0 km (10:15 / km) +250m 8:42 / km

A little sloppy on several attacks (patchy briars didn't help), but I could have used compass/pace a heck of a lot better. Running felt good and I think I was finally running at aerobic limits for the whole race, with no foot pain limits. Yay!

Running (Warmup) 3:00 [2] 0.6 km (5:00 / km)

Need to warm up better... but with two kids and Angelica waiting...

Running (Warmup) 4:00 [2] 0.4 mi (10:00 / mi)

Not much warmup for 2 races...

Orienteering 30:30 [4] 4.0 km (7:38 / km) +130m 6:34 / km

Orange, Ft. Washington, 15ctrls/4.0km meant lots of fast decision making, and I lost ~4-5 minutes on 7 controls, and I can only blame the map/control placement for the majority of time lost on 1 of controls.

Orienteering 15:30 [4] 2.8 km (5:32 / km) +65m 4:58 / km

Sprint-O'. Fun, fast @ Ft. Wash. Only 7 White/Yellow controls and got beat by Chuck Crabb (who I usually beat by far on Red due to navigation...)
Included a lightly downhill, paved finish sprint for ~200m, and foot was okay on that. Lightly sore for an hour or two in late afternoon, but not bad.

Running (Warmup & Cooldown) 15:00 [2] 1.2 mi (12:30 / mi)

On grass, in running shoes. Foot lightly sore. Also did a few minutes of side-ways running drills (e.g. from soccer) at the end to try to exercise/strength the sore tendon/muscles.

Strangely, that immediately seemed to help my foot feel better. Perhaps it was just loosening it up?

In running shoes. Grass and some pavement. R-foot lightly sore on and off in normal spot during run. Fine after.

AttackPoint cup relay @ Rockhouse, Green. Leg winners ~6 minutes faster than me.

Mostly just out of shape. Just 2x30sec. errors.
