Orienteering (Race) 1:11:11 [4] 8.8 km (8:05 / km) +140m 7:30 / km

~80 deg.+ and very humid. Got really hot and slow at about 30 minutes into course and goal of beating 1 hour became impossible. Also I ran first so I was usually the one making the elephant tracks through the frequent knee deep forest 'grass' that covered lots of trees... and there were lots of spider webs. Other than that, it was a good course, and I'd like to re-run it on some cool October day...

Cafe Winberie, Mt. Misery, Valley Creek End, Mt. Joy, Winberie. Fairly cool in the forest. Foot good. Still in O' shoes/active ankle.

1x400 warmup sprint @ 99 sec. foot lightly sore.
5x400 sprints: 88, 85, 88, 86, 84. Occasional foot soreness, more on lower outside ankle/tendon area than bottom of foot. Kept pace a little slow and foot strikes quite conservative as a result (very little toe-off). Warm too (~80/sunny)
