Running 46:23 [2] 8.7 km (5:20 / km) +10m 5:18 / km
ahr:135 max:145 shoes: R-NB Grey Shoes

After about 10 minutes of slow, I felt like I could run "2" pace without it being a horrible effort...

Running (Trails) 2:02:28 [2] 20.79 km (5:53 / km) +500m 5:16 / km
ahr:129 max:144 slept:9.0 shoes: R-NB Grey Shoes

Early morning run - still extremely sluggish - perhaps just the morning? Although yesterday's intervals were pretty weak too...

Running warm up/down 3:54 [2] 0.3 mi (13:00 / mi) +1m 12:52 / mi
shoes: O-VJ-Grey-Spikes

Redwoods in Rotorua, NZ

Orienteering intervals (Trails) 30:00 [4] 6.0 km (5:00 / km)
ahr:155 max:167 shoes: O-VJ-Grey-Spikes

Orienteering course in the Redwoods of Rotorua - ran S-2 hard, then jogged back to 1, then 1-3 hard, then jogged back to 2, then 2-4 hard, etc... Good training, but my HR was really low and pace wasn't that high...

Orienteering warm up/down 49:59 [3] 7.01 km (7:08 / km) +100m 6:39 / km

Running long 1:48:35 [2] 15.76 km (6:53 / km) +300m 6:17 / km
ahr:122 max:144 shoes: R-Nike Blue & White

Super sluggish... (early AM run before family awake.) Pretty freaky to see random steaming mud holes, and drain grates on parts of the run (Rotorua, NZ thermal area...)

Running (Trail/Gravel) 50:01 [2] 9.38 km (5:20 / km) +30m 5:15 / km
shoes: R-Nike Blue & White

Back and forth on a trail - was going to explore more, but the trailhead was rather remote, and Angelica was happier with me checking on her. Physically I had a really hard time moving properly - after 3 minutes of "run easy" I was up to a 108 HR... Had to really push to get HR up to ~140, and was only moving ~5min/km at that point (gravel trail). Don't know if that's good or bad. Hoping it's good, because I have to move faster than I used to think to get my HR up?

Running warm up/down 45:00 [2] 4.0 mi (11:15 / mi)
shoes: R-NB Grey Shoes

40 warmup, from Cathedral Cove to Hahei Beach store (powerade stop) to Hahei Beach Villa (saw family...), then hard run to Cathedral Cove & back, then 5 minute cooldown.

Running tempo (Trails & Hills) 35:00 [4] 7.0 km (5:00 / km)
ahr:163 shoes: R-NB Grey Shoes

Felt hard to push HR to nearly what I did two days ago... ~21C, sunny and moderately humid, but felt cool enough with some breeze and shirt off...
