Evening before got out. When the boss is out of town and I have to cover his job too, it's a bit stressful at work...

Running long 2:11:24 [2]21.99 km (5:59 / km) +200m 5:43 / km
ahr:139 max:152 shoes: R-NB 891's
I read online that there was a newly opened section of the Schuylkill trail - right where I've been wanting them to complete it, so I ran to check it out. And it's there - Audubon to Phoenixville. I didn't get all the way to Pheonixville, but I did get to the furthest point South I'd ever been to from Phoenixville (where the trail had previously ended...)

Very nice that this ~2km is now connected - you can run from Valley Forge park on trails along the Schuylkill now for probably 13+km northwest from VF Fatlands at this point. That's in addition to the trails all the way to downtown Philly (SE), and Green Lane (NE) (about 30-40km each). Cool.

Note
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4hWCBssvIDQ shows one of the really fun parts of this sport, which is getting to run in really cool places. I need to get my act together on COC planning to make sure I get to go there too - seems like something not to miss.
C • I'm as fast as those guys 1
Running 10:00 [2]1.2 km (8:20 / km)
max:133 shoes: R-NB 891's
Didn't leave much time to run. I need to start another streak or something

Tuesday Jun 17

Note
Doing a little mapping this morning of the local area, I was greeted by two of Tredyffrin's finest. Two cars pulled up, stopping in the middle of the (smallish) road blocking traffic, just to talk to me. Apparently I was called in, which has happened before, but this time I got two cars, and a frisking... You see, I was thinking I might run some, so I had my knee strap with me, but not having any pockets, I tucked it into my waistband, and it kinda stuck out, giving a nice little bulge in my shirt...
C • You have to be kidding, right? 11
Running intervals 18:18 [4]5 km (3:40 / km) +0m 3:40 / km
shoes: R-NB 891's
10 x 500m, w/200m rest. Now if, with race-pressure, I could do this without the 200m jogging rests, that would be nice...
