New O' shoes & a moderate jog around the Brown course.

Largest errors were two ~10-15s micro routes(leaving 6 contoured instead of straight to lower trail, and entering 8, went up the R-side of the steep creek for too long.

Most importantly, the foot was pretty much fine during and after the run. Did some stretching right after, plus open sandals for much of the drive home, and did a bit of tape & tight socks in evening.

Easy loop through VF park (about the shortest possible.)

In new O' shoes.

Foot fine before, during and after the run. Was a bit concerned once or twice during the run that it was 'tired' and/or going to get sore, but it was 100% fine by 75-100% of the way through and all afternoon/evening after.

Thursday Feb 16 #

Misc. strength from the usual list.

One newish thing was 20e eccentric one-foot drops off the stairs.

And for 1-2 days later, the R-calf was bit sore, but the R-foot was back to 100% fine. Go figure. May do more of these once the calf recovers.

Wednesday Feb 15 #

Treadmill run.

Foot a little sore all day. Except for during and ~6 hours after the run which was blessedly fine.

Tuesday Feb 14 #

Light warmup for light strength

Outside edge of foot (not the normal inside heel spot) a tiny bit sore and mildly annoying in the PM (after walk & strength.)

Monday Feb 13 #

Running 24:17 [2] 3.6 km (6:45 / km) +40m 6:23 / km

Short loop to/from VFP. Foot was a bit sore in the AM, and during, but after some DT, stretch, tape & tight socks, it's been fine after for ~10 hours now. Odd.
