Memorial. run/walk. My legs are possibly the most sore they've ever been except for after a couple of ultras. I did some lunges yesterday thinking it was no big deal and today I can barely move. My hamstrings and glutes are the worst. I just wanted to move around a little this morning to flush out the legs. Took things very easy with a little run/walk.

Note

Injured. Didn't run. Hips and lower back had me practically incapacitated. I think it stems from the front squats at the gym. I really feel pain in my back after I do them. I'm stopping those and going on to lunges or something else.

Memorial. a.m. Cool front came through and it was really nice this morning, though windy and still relatively humid. But, for whatever reason it didn't help much this morning in terms of pace. Doesn't matter. Very easy run and that's what I needed.

HCM trails. p.m. Nice afternoon but I stopped after only 5 miles at the water hose because of pain in right hip and right achilles. This is getting pretty old.
