Run 1:30:00 [2] 9.5 mi (9:28 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Launch

home to sabine. sabine loop with Miles.

KW - time trial, but i ran pretty slow. about 8:30's. home.

hottest day of the year so far. near the pavement i felt like i was literally cooking. it made me nauseated and completely wore me out. today was just about survival.

Run 1:19:25 [2] 8.5 mi (9:21 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Launch

Memorial x2+. just simply not recovered from yesterday. first 4.25 miles were fine at about 8:25 pace. then, all of sudden, nothing. i was finished. i death-marched the second half. i probably walked a total of a mile of today's run. i just had nothing. the heat was so intense that it had to be i just wasn't recovered enough. it was only about 12 hours or so between runs.

Monday Jun 14, 2010 #

Run 1:00:00 [3] 6.0 mi (10:00 / mi)
shoes: Asics Hyper Speed 4 #2

KW - short day but intense. ~ 700 meter loops at 3-speeds. finished 5 loops for 3500 meters in 20 minutes. i probably went too hard on the run-hard part for the extreme heat. by the time we made it home, i was completely cracked. i was really really done.
