Run 56:05 [2] 6.0 mi (9:21 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Launch

memorial x2. with miles. hips were extremely tight and hurt. calf hurt during the run and also hurt a lot more after. never loosened up in the hip or calf. very humid. everything else was alright. pepto is still doing its job.

Run 50:51 [2] 5.5 mi (9:15 / mi)
shoes: Asics Hyper Speed 4 #2

Memorial. run/walk. easy recovery type day. calf was really hurting and sore and i didn't want to push anything too hard. the heat was really overwhelming this morning, to the point of nausea. I think I might have been running too hard, though, considering how much i walked and my finish time.

Run 51:10 [2] 6.0 mi (8:32 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Launch

memorial x2. felt pretty decent considering today's therapy session and the raging inferno that is 3 p.m.

Run 52:37 [2] 5.5 mi (9:34 / mi)
shoes: Asics Hyper Speed 4 #2

memorial+ with NB. easy day. we took it easy and it felt relaxing and controlled. more like a recovery run for me. very nice.

Tuesday Aug 3, 2010 #

Run 36:47 [3] 5.0 mi (7:21 / mi)
shoes: Asics Hyper Speed 4

gym. progressive 5 miles starting at about 7:30 down to about 7:05. thoroughly pissed off at the therapist for telling me not to run for two weeks. but, i decided to scale back the mileage to about 60-65% of normal for a couple of weeks and see if that helps. so out of frustration i up-ed the intensity a bit today but i'll pull back.

Monday Aug 2, 2010 #

Run 41:12 [2] 5.0 mi (8:14 / mi)
shoes: Asics Hyper Speed 4

memorial. felt good. went earlier and the cooler weather definitely makes a difference. why have i been so stupid all summer? had to run before my session with Kiki this morning because it's highly unlikely i'll be able to walk after, much less run.
