Sabine. a little toward memorial.

i'm getting into a real fatigue phase right now. it's been a very long, hard summer of running. the plan was to keep it light and run 13 but i felt really heavy and was plodding along. so, i picked up the pace, which felt better, but i simply have no motivation. i just need to stay relatively consistent for 2 more weeks and it's all good. i'm treating this like a tempo run and honestly it was kind of fun to do something different on a saturday and get home at a reasonable time. usually i'm too beat up during the week to try and run fast because to the two KW days, so it was a nice change.

HCM trails. Green/endless loop. Fun, effortless. 2nd time in a row i've gone under 54 (last time was sub-53) on that route. this time was a touch slower but it was also significantly less effort. i felt like i could've gone sub-50 if i had wanted to. made it to Crestwood at exactly 27, so a slight negative split.

memorial x2. easy day run. i went out a touch too hard i think because the time includes a little walking and the pace was still fairly good. anyway, still not where i'm supposed to be according to KW, but it's honestly still pretty warm out there. supposed to get up to 90 today.

legs are still really tired and i just don't have any pep right now.

KW. spotts park. felt better than monday but still just not able to push like i have been in the past. just dead-legged and tired for whatever reason.

600 meter progressive intervals with 200 meter jog between each... for 30 minutes.

at least i ran all the intervals progressive. that was a win for me today...

memorial x2. felt a little better today. still a bit dead-legged, though. at least i didn't have to walk! that's how i know the weather's better...

according to KW schedule, i'm still running about 15 sec/mile too slow on my easy days. if i run any faster it'll be a tempo! blah. i'm confused.

KW. nice weather, still a bit warm but infinitely better than how it's been. but, i had a very mediocre day. don't know what happened. i never felt that bad but i had nothing. people who don't usually run in front of me were gapping me and i was tanking. i ran a lot better last week when i was running three times today's distance at a faster pace than today...

5 x 1000 meters progressive with 200 meter jog in between. but i quit after 4 like a quitter.
