Run 2:30:42 [2] 13.2 mi (11:25 / mi)
shoes: Altra Instinct 1.5

HSP w/Miles. Uncommonly less-hot morning for August in Texas but still quite humid. Very nice to get out of town and see some different sights and wildlife. Legs felt rubbery after about 8-9 miles but I've done very little trail running since I've started back so the lack of strength wasn't unexpected.

Run 34:04 [2] 4.0 mi (8:31 / mi)
shoes: Altra Instinct 2.0

LB/Memorial. Trying to shake out the dead legs. Felt really pulled down yesterday and I decided to rest a little then run today. I think it's just my body getting used to the higher mileage and heat. But, I feel a little better today but still quite tired.

Run 53:34 [2] 6.0 mi (8:56 / mi)
shoes: Altra Instinct 1.5

LB/Memorial. Miserable. Very difficult today. My legs are dead and my heart rate was a little spiky. Could be the increase in mileage or a little dehydration or a thousand other things. Had to stop a few times for water which isn't included in the time.

Monday Jul 28, 2014 #

Run 1:20:34 [2] 8.0 mi (10:04 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Pure Drift - Blue

Home/Green/Endless. Maybe the hottest and most humid morning since I started back running. After the turn around at the rugby parking lot, I did 8/2's all the way back to Blossom. At Blossom, I did block to block run/walk to the house. I think I could have run the entire thing today but I'm pretty sure it would've meant no running, or very limited running, the rest of the week. So why push it? Monday's are notoriously hard for me anyway so it's best to take it easy.
