20 mile trail run on the AT/IMT in Dmascus, va. Ran a new route with two of my ultra friends. 18F, sunny, little wind.. the trail was about ankle deep with loose dry snow.. it wad like running in sand.. so I'm a little sore this morning!! :o) had so much fun though! a day in the mtns is always a gift.

didn't make it outside to run. it was 10 F this morning and snowing.. and I just really felt like staying in-- PROMISE I am going outside tomorrow for my long run! I have 4 friends meeting me to go run on the AT tomorrow for 15 miles to hold me accountable.

I did an hour upperbody p90x shoulders and arms-- with ab ripper x, then I ran on the eliptical for 30 min.

ran pyramids on the treadmill.. did a mile warm up.. then 1/2 mile at 9 min pace, 1/2 mile at 8 min pace, 1/2 mile at 7 min pace, Then a half mile cool down.

tabata sprints on the spin bike 8x 20 secs all out.. with warm up and cool down

1hr 30 min of p90x yoga.. thanks I REALLy needed that.. my hamstrings are super tight and felt much better post yoga.

one mile warm up on the track with running drills and hurdle drills.
4x 1 mile with 90 seconds rest between each one
mile one- 7:20
mile two- 7:17
mile three- 7:15
mile four- 7:10

felt a little leg tired today.. I think it' s just a part of me recovering from the race on saturday. I really tried hard and pushed myself today.. plus it's really cold 20F on the track this morning and windy. BRR!
BUT really happy I got the workout in:o)
