Set out in the sun with a plan to ride to Belmont, Green Point, Glendale, Wallsend, Jesmond, home but it started pouring at about Jewels so just went to Belmont and back. Stopped raining now that I'm home again.

Lunch time touch football game. Uni has closed all the nearby fields for annual maintenance so we had to play in our rabbit hole riddled open space. First 5 minutes was trying to level out the worst of them. Game involved keeping an eye on the ball, the holes in the ground and the angry lapwings that must have an egg or chick somewhere nearby.
