First BOSS for the season. Think I ended up 4th behind Steve, Hamish and Fergus. Pipped mars67 on the same points by a few seconds.

Set off with the thought that last year got all the controls but was back under a minute late so should plan to get them all. Was riding further away from finish thinking I should still have about 15 minutes left. When looked at watch discovered only 8 minutes left so had to modify plan and head straight back asap. Was nearly 4 minutes late. Top half a dozen all back 3-4 minutes late.

Easy 20 minute ride in the garage mostly to test how riding affects my muscle strain and to decide if MTBO on Sunday is likely to be possible. Should be but perhaps not flat out.

Lunch time touch football game. Not fully recovered from last weeks muscle strain so just jogging. OK for first 15 starting to tighten up after that. No worse after the game.
