Minor orienteering event on Brokenback Slopes. Warm, sunny and hilly. Only one error on 15 and not sure on route choice to 1.

S-1 started head straight up the track then hesitated deciding, ended up going back through start and finish to follow tracks most of the way, left track at rock line. Splits say lost 40 seconds, half that was probably deciding other half how poor the track condition was.
1-2 straightish picking way through light green.
2-3 straight
3-4 over ridge to track, follow track, in off erosion control.
4-5 along creek.
5-6 straight.
6-7 up to track, through intersection, straight up.
7-8 back track to track, follow track to minor bend, contour around.
8-9 contour around to track going up a little on way, contour across to minor track, follow track through green, straightish crossing track on way.
9-10 straight down hill across creeks in light green, straightish to control.
10-11 contour to track junction, follow erosion/creek to control.
11-12 straightish
12-13 straight
13-14 straight
14-15 contour around to creek, must have gone up a contour on the way, hit creek too high but didn't know, up slightly before going down a fair bit, probably lost a minute or so.
15-16 down creek looking for vague track, along creek edge, to minor creek, stopped to help other competitor but probably only 15-20 seconds.
16-17 straight.
17-F track.

Got home from O and no one was home. All out for a few hours so choice was chores around home or not. On such a nice afternoon not sounded much better so I went for a ride at Ashtonfield. Haven't been there for more than a year according to Strava.
