Running 5:30 [2] 1.0 km (5:30 / km)
shoes: VJ Bold 5

Easy warm up with Tristan.

Orienteering 1:28:07 [5] 15.85 km (5:34 / km)
shoes: VJ Bold 5

Great course and a 100% correct map which is quite rare in Belgium. Started at a good pace which I hoped I could keep for 90'.

First 20' were great with just legs straight through the meadow or forest. In this part I just lost 10" on the 4th control.

Then the next 35' were quite boring with mostly running on the tracks, lost 50" though to 17 by running away in the wrong direction from 16.

Last half an hour was great orienteering again with shorter legs in meadow/open/halfopen/white forest so a lot of variation. Some small mistakes of 10 to 30" in this part, especially in the end when I was pushing a bit too hard.

Glad about the race though because I could still accelerate the last 30'. Technically there is still room for improvement but that's the main reason why I wanted to start racing this weekend because the important dates are coming closer!

Running 28:32 [2] 5.68 km (5:01 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel Cumulus 16

Schedule worked out perfectly today. Working from early in the morning untill a little before 4. Then I could watch the last 6-7k of the Strade Bianchi. Afterwards I went for a short jog and at around 5 we had to go to a family dinner.

Running warm up/down 15:40 [2] 3.1 km (5:03 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel Cumulus 16

Running intervals 18:42 [5] 4.73 km (3:57 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel Cumulus 16

2*5* 300m on the track with 100m jog. Was running on the 5th-6th lane though instead of the inside lane so I guess it was about 320m and 120m.
Felt that I didn't do intervals in a long time but also that the shape is still very good. So for the next 3-4weeks I want to plan a few good interval session and a few long runs of around 18-20k because I'm not sure if I have the longer distance in me too.

Running warm up/down 18:46 [1] 3.1 km (6:03 / km)

Strength 10:00 [3]
(sick) (rest day)

So the good thing is I don't have to take antibiotics. The bad thing is I have a difference in pressure in my ears and at the same time I have reflux which is causing the pain in my throat. The reflux is kind of bad because normally it is a lifelong problem. She advised me to stop drinking coke, beer and probably coffee too. Especially the last is quite a problem.

Note
(sick) (rest day)

Mostly my nose is open but still got a sore throat and painfull ears so it's gotta be something more. I'm also feeling very tired the whole day through. Seems like all doctors are busy these days, got an appointment tomorrow evening.
