Fletcher consists of nearly 90 minutes of aerobic Endurance spent between 60-75% FTP. This workout's form drills include Form Sprints, Endurance Spinning, and Pistons/Kick & Pull pedaling drills.

Very hot and humid today, HR stayed in check but normally stays 3-5 beats below my (avg) from today's workout. Legs felt a little flat today too, around 40 minutes they felt much better.

Well felt much better working out early in the morning, lot cooler and just for productive for me in the early morning. Right hamstring is still tight so I err on the side of caution from the get go. Still missed my numbers by a 3-5 watts but I think it's lack of focus trying to watch the power on my cell phone and hold the watts it's call for which are changing between 88-94 % for each interval. Have to say these 2hr workouts sitting in the sweat Spot are very challenging, it feels like I'm going to pop, but end of making it through. There is no feeling comfortable for 15 minutes each interval.

Tough workout later in the afternoon, could not hold my intervals again today, pulled right hamstring and very warm and humid, just made it feel horrible on the last 30 minute interval, was a "DEATH MARCH"

Decided I would do the 3 big intervals in big gear lower cadence and first two and last two in smaller gear but higher cadence. Was very happy with fourth interval holding 327, but my legs were paying for it on the remaining intervals.

Came back from Seattle late last night so I had to bag the ride with Art and others this morning, so I decided to do TR, which happen to be one of the hardest workouts for this 6 week training period. After Tuesday's failure and not feeling well, the 2 days off really helped. I felt good during the warm ups and first intervals holding high cadence. The second intervals became more tough with only 30 second rest periods. On the final block I mixed in bigger gear for 2 of 3 intervals and held higher than 90% FTP.

Not a very good workout, started late, which makes the garage very warm, plus did not eat hardly anything, my stomach was not feeling good since last night after eating a Korean Dish my son made. I think I'm just very tired too as I biked 8 straight days plus a big run yesterday morning. I'm more of an early morning person, when I wait to long I start to loose motivation. The first interval was hard, but the warm-up, I knew I was in trouble.

5-minute recoveries separate each interval.

Wasn't feeling this one from the get go after biking up to CL yesterday. First block wasn't to bad, but the remaining intervals were rough and just had to focus and play mind games. I was completely drenched and my shoes were soaking wet.

Crystal Lake Climb with the boy's (Art, Nick, Slater, Jerry, Carlos, Greg)

Slater pretty much kept the train rolling up to the Cafe. I felt kind of crappy after eating 4 packets of oatmeal chased by some coffee early this morning, but hung in up to the Cafe. Grabbed a few PRs and a few more achievements along the way too, need to take a smarter approach eating prior to cycling in the morning. Looking forward to getting more rides with the crew, love the push.

This one was tough from the get go, already sweating buckets from the warm-up, I knew it was going to be rough. Interval 4 & 5 used bigger gear working on lower cadence, was surprised as I was pushing but not over taxing my body and was keeping the power between 320-350 on interval 4. Once I backed down into smaller gear on interval 6 & 7, it made it took it's toll, specially the last interval, my legs did not feel any burning but they just were out of gas and I was swimming in wet shoes.

Eclipse is comprised of 3x20-minute Sweet Spot efforts (88-94% FTP) with 5 minutes of recovery between intervals.

Always struggle with 20 minute intervals, I know it's mental, I did go with lower cadence on interval 2 as requested by program, but on interval 3 I just could not hang it was tough and stopped 2x for about 10-15 seconds, mentally loosing focus. Soaking wet, shoes drenched in sweat.

Leg's really were feeling it on this one from my long run yesterday and weights (leg routine) on Sunday. I put it in a bigger gear for the 2nd interval on last 10 minutes. Was able to go above 5-6 watts on second interval. 294, 294, 311, 309, 298, 299. HR stayed in check but legs did not feel strong today, poured buckets of sweat and had to put my bike shoes outside to dry.

Nice ride from Back Bay Newport Beach to Camp Pendleton with Art, Slater, Eric, Jose, Dan, Jen, Nick, Mike, and I think a few others. Strong riders and a great group of people to hang around. Very happy the temp was on the cooler side compared to yesterday. Back of my hamstrings were a little tight on the way back from the base, but all in all I'm getting a little better each week. Art has really picked up his biking and looks really strong.
