Nice easy recovery ride, moved the seat down just a tiny bit and felt like my legs were not having to reach so much, less weight on my arms too. We will see how this works over the next week.

Seal Beach to Turnbull Cyn, up and over and up Edgeridge (which is very steep) back over Turnbull up the SGRT to Hwy 39 to East Fork Rd and back home down SGRT. Felt ok, but just don't have the endurance that I did prior. I maybe just burnt out from riding, but one thing for sure I need to make some adjustments to my seat or buy a new one. My upper hamstrings and rear feel very uncomfortable and it almost feels like I'm sitting on a nerve as the discomfort and numbness start to get worse over longer rides, which I think this effects my pedal stroke as my legs start to feel strange while pedaling, very weird.

Foerster -1 is 3x12-minute sets of 50 seconds all-out (125% FTP) followed closely by 50 seconds of rest where the less predictable spacing of efforts is meant to surprise riders & keep them attentive. 10 minutes of recovery separates each set of intervals.

I like this workout as it really pushes you hard and then give you just enough rest, but the watts take forever to dial in, not really seeing my watts over 400 for about 5-8 seconds, lots of "lag time". Back of hamstrings started to hurt near the last set, quads and entire legs feel really heavy and just start to feel slightly better right before the start of each interval. The rest period 10 minutes is more than enough, probably could get away with 7 or 8 minutes. Legs did not respond to bad after running long yesterday. Just trying to stay in shape and not loose to much.
