Orienteering warm up/down 25:00 [3] 1.0 km (25:00 / km) +40m 20:50 / km
shoes: Olway Spikes

WA: Jogged to start and then was reallllly early so jogged back down the hill to the finish did some dynamic stretching and checked out the run in and stuff then jogged back up and did more dynamic stretching and a few static streching.

WD: Jogged a bit and had a wee strech.

Was well impressed with myself, haveing worked out the first control chosen an attackpoint and route before I started!! :D was great, still took the first few slowly to get into map and used to the area, not that you could go incredibly fast. Had looked at a few legs on old maps before the race and some were pretty similar, used CAR technique, think i could have went faster but overall a pretty clean run minus control 13.

3rd on Course.

Jogging round the big field, it was rank, rubbish everywhere, and then drills and dynamic stretching with Frances up the strip of grass and a wee bit of static stretching too (:

Urban orienteering is really no fun when BOF have a rule saying you cant corss roads till your 16, it acutally frustrates me soooo much :/
Anyways I didnt have the speed of the others and even with my speed I messed up one conrtol in the urban, okay otherwise.

had a second run round a proper course, just kinda jogged round, not race pace and even still was very close to the W18s on the course. much better course.
