Going with Masha on her ski-o intermediate course. It is such a beautiful day in McCall, ID! Sunny and right below freezing point. Challenging course for Masha and she didn't have any problems with orienteering :)

My course today. Tried to execute with fluidity and nice pace. Most difficult part with ski-o is to get to the control which is 4-5 meters from the trail on skate skiis :) I think I am 18 minutes faster than best person who used snowshoes today. And he moved fast - I saw him while skiing with Masha! Showshoes are big plus in shortening the distance. Pushed hard on all uphills. GU rules! Real distance on ski trails is more like11-12K

I tried yesterday GU by taking one doze 20 minutes before the intervals training. It helped! My recovery was faster and I felt better during the run. Looks like I will take it under consideration for each high intensity session which is usually about 10 miles for me, as well as longer runs.
