Half hour blast round Hyde Park. No noticeable mistakes, but haven't seen any splits yet. Jogged round the short course with Zoe afterwards. Left knee felt like it had some fluid on the inside afterwards. First time I've felt like that in quite a long time.

OK run. A few small silly mistakes that a summer of sprint races should have sharpened up by now, me thinks. Loss of confidence caused unnecessary hesitations a couple of times. A couple of controls described as being on the top of earthbanks coule have been 20m either side, but that's ok. Ended up using 17 to relocate from missing 16 nearby in a fairly indistinct set of paths in the NW corner. Meant that I hadn't planned the long leg to 18, so took a path run at the start to plan the rest. May have cost a few seconds, but no big deal.

Enjoyed having to sprint for the frolic finish, and then picking it back up for the extension. Probably the closest I'll get to feel like Cavendish sprinting to win both the intermediate and final sprints on the Tour... :)
