Orienteering 34 [3]

Drove to NH for 90 minutes to go orienteering at the most dreadful place. A dump. Literally. It's a brush dump. On top of that , I was stuck with a white/yellow course that winded through endless mounds of dirt and heaps of sand. I guess I could have tried to do the Score-O, but I was too lazy to copy the controls. Love NH but not this 'park'.

Walking 45:00 [3] 1.5 mi (30:00 / mi)

Went for a walk when I got home from a mammogram. What a relief. I had been called back for another set of x-rays and was a nervous wreck all night last night and all day today. Walking helps me clear my head and relax, I have found. I think I'm going to do it more often! After I got home , around 6 pm, I poured myself my 'aperitif', Dubonnet on ice.

Walking 45:00 [3] 1.5 mi (30:00 / mi)

Walked up Greenhill Road to Goodman's hill to Concord Road and back. Not too hot, not too cold and not many bugs out!

Orienteering 1:30:00 [3]

Went orienteering at Prospect Hill Park, Waltham. Did pretty well, although I walked and never jogged. Made one BIG mistake when I didn't orient my map and went the opposite way. I was looking for a lake, and there was one, but it was the wrong one! Finally figured out where I was. I did, I am told by my daughter Cristina, a 180. Sometimes I think I'm ready for Brown, and sometimes I think not.
