Orienteering 1:25:00 [3]

Prospect Hill Park. Beautiful park in Waltham. Thought it would be muddy and slippery after the torrential rains, but it was a glorious day, sunny, crisp, and cool. Anyway, I did orange because the green had a lot of climbing. Took 80 some minutes. I passed one control once, and as a rule, I walked slowly because I didn't want the sticks and broken branches to lodge themselves in my face, as they did last Saturday, marring my beauty.

There was one section, where I followed a stone wall, that was full of trash: bottles, cans, papers, and worse, rusted metal with jagged edges. Luis, Francine and Caroline, who arrived later, all did well. Kathy was coming back from her orange course when she suddenly tripped and fell. She scared us with all the blood on her face, but it turned out to be her lip. She's doing fine.
