Sunday Jan 31

Cross-country skiing 1:52:30 [1] 22 km (5:07 / km)

Skied at Tuggelite w/ Tone, a bit slower than the past few days but focus on technique and enjoyment. An absolutely fantastic day, sunshine and perfect tracks, maybe just a tad too cold.

Saturday Jan 30

Cross-country skiing 1:25:00 [2] 20 km (4:15 / km)

Afternoon ski at Tuggelite, Did a long outer then inner loop skiing hard the whole way. Felt rested after a long nights sleep. Tired afterwards which is a good sign.

Friday Jan 29

Cross-country skiing 1:20:00 [1] 18 km (4:27 / km)

Afternoon ski w/ Tone at Tuggelite. Fantastic conditions, the tracks are firming up nicely with the colder weather. Very tired (sleepy tired), it's been a week with lots of very early mornings, travel and long meetings. Look forward to sleeping in tommorrow.

Thursday Jan 28

Late evening ski after arriving home from meetings in Stockholm. Didn't finish until 22:30. Good to get out and clear my head and use some stored up energy. Great evening, the latest snow-fall has refreshed the tracks and the surroundings. What a winter!

Snowy run after work. The temperature went slightly above freezing for the first time since Dec 22, and another 6" of snow fell at the same time. Made for a tough run since the plows hadn't made it out yet and the snow had the consistency of a sandy beach. Now we're headed back to the deep freeze.

Monday Jan 25

Cross-country skiing 1:00:00 [2] 15 km (4:00 / km)

One each around the 10k and 5k loops at Forshaga. Grip wax was just a little off which made the hills tougher and hard to keep my technique together. Good work-out.

Tyrgympa Agneta's program. Felt stronger tonight, and was able to work hard on all the exercises. Excellent workout.
