Amber joined Myka and I for the GRR on a sunny day with way better trail conditions than expected after last weeks ice storm.

Our navigation was right on (thanks Amber!) up until part way through the butterfly when we missed 17 by quite a bit and didn't realize our error fast enough. Spent too much time with 11 as well and knew at that point we wouldn't make the 3pm cut off. Our nav mojo must have drowned in the swamp together with the SI card...

We did very little running to spare my knee (thanks team!) and interestingly were still ok with time as long as the nav was pretty clean. Which makes me think that one could complete the course without a lot of running!

Thanks for a great day ladies, volunteers and race crew!
