Annual Snowshoe Raid with Amber and always a favourite of mine as it combines snowshoeing (at least most years) and meeting up with AR friends.
Our strategy is generally the same, aim for high point CP's and a slow enough pace that one can chat and don't go over time (especially at a balmy -23C).
It worked perfectly and we still ended up 4th out of 19 in our category which was a nice surprise.
