Had a forest training on the Gloden horn map, all the trails were removed so we just had features and vegetation to navigate with. Went pretty smoothly until I had to tackle my dog so she wouldn't chase a deer.
Ah, the wonderful rocky canyon section of the Mount Mac map. This area is torturous on the ankles with all the rocks and deadfall then you add the rain! I made one error but otherwise had a pretty slow clean race.

Long distance training, Pia set-up a long distance course out at Mount Lorne and Kendra and I went and ran/cleaned up the course. It had some good long route choice legs.

This was a score-O, I ran it with Kendra practicing a few things. A few controls we did route choice to see which was faster and other controls we played follow the leader.

Well, I learned that I should have done more long distance training for this race because at Heckle hill I started getting sharp pains in my hip with each right step. Sadly it didn't go away.
