Went for a nice easy run with Pia. Had a bit of trouble because I didn't wear any spikes, I took a straighter approach to the top with a lot of bushwhacking. Was feeling pretty tired with not a lot of energy to push.

Hill intervals to the art centre, watch a Banff film festival and bike home. The first two hills were really hard but got used to the tired leg feeling after that.

The first 30km were great! We just cruised and the terrain was really fun. Then the headwind, soft snow and continuous climb hit. I was really over it and tired after 5km and just wanted a downhill to rest the legs.

So for the first 30km I was pulling a pulk behind the bike and man was it annoying! There was this constant resistance pulling me back. Finally, I figured out a way to get everything on the rack.

Did the intervals outside today and in the sun!!! Time to start upping the intervals so today was 5X 3minutes with a minute rest. I felt pretty good for the first 4 and on the last one I definitely felt tired and slower.
