Long run with Holly on Bear Creek bike path. 5 min easy, hour at MP, hour easy, hour MP, 10 min CD. As usually happens on this course, the first hour was really at MP or even a bit faster, and the second hour was slower but at marathon effort due to hills and wind. And I kind of bonked a bit near the end of the second faster hour. I ate some Sport Beans and felt a bit better after that.

Easy run with Ralph out on the trails...so warm we were in shorts and short-sleeves! I'll have a lot of TM workouts to do in Iceland but it was worth it to be out on such a nice morning and get to take the dogs out before we leave. Ankle feels better, still a little sore in the morning but it loosened up pretty well.

Did something weird to my ankle yesterday. I was sitting at my desk and stretched and felt this sharp pain in the ankle. It was stiff and really hurt this morning, like I sprained it, so I'm going to take another day off.

Long run with Holly...we started out at White Ranch. First couple of miles were fine, but the snow just got deeper and deeper until we were postholing above our knees. We finally just gave up and decided to drive down to Golden to run on the bike path.
