Running 1:00:00 [4] 7.0 mi (8:34 / mi)

Tempo run on TM. Another long day...we are moving offices and I spent most of the day moving computer equipment, etc. The run wasn't great. Started at 7:48, but couldn't hold it there and slowed down a little. My asthma has been really bad since the cold I had and my chest felt tight today despite using my inhaler.

Long run on Bear Creek bike path. Was supposed to run each hour a little faster, but things didn't go as planned...everything was OK for the first hour, felt great, even felt like I had to slow down to stick to target pace. I took Sephara and Fro, and after about an hour, Sephara started slowing down, which is unusual. I thought she was hot, so I stopped a couple of times to give her water and let her get in the creek, and during one of those times she puked a huge amount of vomit into the creek! I thought she would feel better, but she was lagging the rest of the way, so I didn't push the pace and just jogged. Probably did about half the run or a little more at target pace, and the rest just jogging and even walking a little when she looked she was going to throw up again.

Running 20:00 [3] 2.4 mi (8:20 / mi)
shoes: Saucony Guide white and blue

When I got home, I did 20 min at a faster pace on the TM to make up a little for the rest of the run. That's all I had time for.

Way too much snow to run outside. Tried to finish up the other 2 hours on the TM...could only tolerate 90 minutes of running, 10 minutes walking.

Hill cruise intervals on TM. 15 min WU, then 5x5 intervals with 2 min easy in between. I'm feeling a lot better but I skipped the last interval to make it just a little easier. First 2 8:45/4%, next 2 9:15/6%, last one 9:45/8%. 15 min CD and 5 min walking. Actually felt pretty good.
