Long run at White Ranch. Planned to do the perimeter trail but as we got higher there was about 2 feet of snow, so we turned back and finished the last hour or so on hilly roads nearby. Had to walk a good bit of the trail section due to deep snow, but otherwise felt pretty good. Drank Perpetuem.

Bored of my usual routine, so I mixed in some Crossfit exercises.

3x10 1 leg hamstring curls (12 lbs)
4x10 each side hip circles
6,5,4 pullups
3x12 pushups
3x5 knee to elbows
2x5 dumbbell snatch (6 lbs)
5 baby handstand pushups
2x10 modified handstand pushups

Uphill tempo run. Felt like crap today - flew to St. Louis last night, got very little sleep. Started with 15 minutes easy flat running, then 30 minutes at 10:10 pace and 5% incline. Had to throw in a few minutes of flat running here and there at the end because I felt like I was going to throw up. But I got in the full 30 minutes of uphill running. Finished with easy flat running to cool down.

Hilly recovery run around La Jolla and the beaches. 4 sets of flat strides on the beach. Went longer than planned but it was so beautiful I couldn't stop.

Intervals on TM. 15 minutes easy to warm up. Then 8x0.5 mile intervals with ~3 min walking in between. First 5 intervals were at 7:42 pace. Last three were at: 7:36, 7:30, 7:24 pace. Then 10 minutes easy to cool down.
