Taka loop in the snow. Foot is a tiny bit sore this morning. For some reason, it seems like it hurts the day after an easy day. Hopefully the run later today will loosen it up. :)

Mini cruise intervals 5 min @ 10:00 alternating with 5 min @ 8:34. My stomach was not feeling great, so this is the best I could do today. Time includes 5 min walking WU and CD. Mileage is a guess because I forgot to look before I turned off the TM. I feel really out of shape, but at least I got it done. Foot felt OK.

This didn't go so well today. I planned to do the long run on the Highline, since it's pretty flat and I thought I'd have better luck maintaining an even pace. I took two dogs with me. Izzy is normally a strong runner but she had dental surgery earlier this week - I thought she had recovered since she was crazy on this morning's walk, but she really was not into the run. She was running slowly and I kept trying to encourage her, but I kind of had to pull her along. Didn't look at the GPS during the run. Splits were as follows: 9:35 (this first one was only 9/10 of a mile, so that was really slow), 10:28, 9:58, 9:46, 10:01, 9:51, 10:36 (I slowed down because some guy asked me a question about the dogs), 9:41, 9:43, 3:19 (1/3 of a mile). She got a little better as we went along, but I cut this short because I felt bad for her and because I was frustrated.

Had another painful needling session so I decided to go for low impact. Easy effort. I think the arc trainer probably is more like a running stride than most of the ellipticals I've used.
