Hike up Herman Gulch with Ralph and the dogs. We were planning to go up Pettingell Peak as well, but I stupidly left my insoles at home and had to hike with no insoles at all in my boots, so we decided to stop at Herman Lake. Good thing, since I had a few blisters by the time we got back to the car. I can see why this hike is so popular...absolutely gorgeous.

Hill progression run on TM. 5 min WU, then increased incline 1% every 2 min until I couldn't any longer. Back to flat, then repeat until an hour is up. Got to 7%, 7%, 6%, and then ran out of time at 3%. Walked 5 min.

Minute on/minute off workout on TM. 15 min WU, then 30 min alternating 1 min @ 7:53 and 1 min @ 9:40. This felt pretty hard, so I slowed the off minutes down a little bit during the last 5 minutes. 15 min CD. Didn't feel great, but not really sick. My asthma was acting up a little - wish it would rain and clear out some of the pollen and dust!
